Lynton Mortensen long distance swimmer

Your donation to the Ocean Plastic Relay – The Day of 30 will help support world-leading research on the impact of plastic pollution on seabirds.

On 9 February 2021, marathon ocean swimmer Lynton Mortensen will undertake a 30km circumnavigation of Lord Howe Island to raise awareness of the tragic plight of the Flesh-footed Shearwater (muttonbird) and to raise funds for the ongoing work of researchers from the Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies - Drs Jennifer Lavers, Alexander Bond, and Ian Hutton (known as Adrift Lab).

To make a donation to support the swim, please complete the online form below. Alternatively, print and complete the Donation Form (PDF 98KB) and return to the address on the form.

If you have any questions, or you would like to discuss your gift, please contact us by phone on +61 3 6226 1920 or via email through University.Giving@utas.edu.au
