December 2016

Hi kids

Thank you for supporting the Tassie devil this year. I am thrilled to let you know that we have a new “Ambassador”, Tasmanian actress, Bonnie Sveen.  Like you, Bonnie loves Tassie devils and her job will be talking to interested people across Australia about how we can help this amazing animal – Perhaps you can send us some ideas on how you like to help!

It is important, because your help really does make a difference. This year researchers have discovered that some devils are capable of naturally recovering from DFTD. Now we need to help them with their important work so every devil can be protected. You can read the latest on vaccine research here.

I hope you and your families have a great Christmas, stay safe and watch out for our wildlife if you are on the roads!
